Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah is a leading organisation dedicated to nurturing talented young ladies from the ages of 12 – 18 in the creative fields. It was originally founded in 2004 under the umbrella of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs as a subsidiary department of the Sharjah Children Centres.

In 2012, the organisation was declared an independent body by virtue of an administrative decision issued by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs. This decision was made in order to maintain the focus on young ladies and harness all available resources to enable them to become the hope of the present and the future.
