Women should advance in the workplace, and they should seek to develop their capacities and those of the community. They are the pillars of society, and should seek to support future generations, both at work and at home. Therefore, we in Sharjah are focused on providing the necessary foundation stones to support women leaders, by giving them the opportunity to apply their experience and contribute to the launch of projects designed to build the future of the state,” Her Highness said.

“We want the young women of Sharjah to be active leaders who, regardless of challenges, continue working and learning diligently, and do not stop once they complete their education. They should continue to seek to educate themselves, through intensive and continuous reading. We want to see your ambitions and accomplishments on the ground. You should seek to stand out and not look back. You are leaders and the builders of future generations,” she added.

Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi said that she hoped that these leaders will make greater efforts to fulfill the duties entrusted to them as diligently as possible, and deliver them properly to all segments of society: adding that she was pleased with the efforts undertaken by all women leaders within Her Highness’ organisations which are dedicated to serving the community and country.

We at the Department of Family Development Centers launched this initiative under the generous guidance and support of Her Highness, and because of her belief that these practices will develop the capabilities of female employees in the administration field. Her Highness’ continuous concern gives us the motivation to apply best practices at the regional and global level,” she said.

“We, as institutions operating under one umbrella, must maintain a team spirit. Out of this team arise other institutions concerned with family affairs, children, girls, culture, and other related areas. We, as a team that represents the Sharjah institutions locally and regionally, must build a team that looks toward building the future,” HE Modi Al Shamsi added.

Working for the future does not mean that we continue moving within the same circle, but we must strive to change for the better. We can enhance activities and events through cooperation and partnership with other institutions. We have an obligation towards our country and noble leadership to work hard, and have our actions speak on our behalf.”
